Bangkok, first stop !

We didn’t give any news since we arrived in Bangkok, but we have a good reason, we were really busy. Shopping center after shopping center, market after market we wanna see all. Barbara is really happy! Imagine a seven level modern shopping center with only clothes shops, and above all, very cheap, that’s the Platinium Fashion Mall, and just next door you will find the Pantip Plaza, same size but instead of clothes you will find informatics stuff. If you’re fed up with air conditioning you can still go each week end on the Chatuchak Market, with his 15000 shops, where you can find everything from clothes, handcrafts, pets…

Don’t forget to stop in the little restaurants where you will eat wonderful Thai meals, a little bit spicy but you’ll get used to it!

Few days ago we went to visit some of the most famous temple in Thailand, like Wat Phra Kaew, temple of the emerald Buddha, or Wat Pho temple of the huge reclining Buddha (46m long and 15m high), and the Grand Palace.
Because we love sport we went to the stadium to see some Thai Boxing. The boxers are very young and it’s very impressive to see.

We are now waiting for our visas for Burma so we can get our passports back and start to move around Bangkok this time!
