Broome, The end of the story in the fishing town !
Hello to all our english speaking friends, here is our first article in English so sorry in advance for all the mistakes.
Last week, was Julien’s birthday (which was the 9th of may …). So we met at Jess and Tomoko place with a dozen of friends, had some delicious food from all our different countries, some beers too … That was a great night !
We spent 6 weeks in Broome and saved enough money to continue our trip. Which means that we have stopped working yesterday and we are back on the road tomorrow for a two day tour in Cap Leveque (north of Broome) before heading on Thursday to Darwin. Which means also that we had to say goodbye to everybody … And as we worked at three different places, we had to hug a lot of people ! So we started today our first day of holiday with Brad and Ryan for a big breakfast at Matso’s (where Barbara was working) before going back to the hotel to say goodbye to all the staff. After that we went back home only to be free to do nothing ! On the evening we had our dinner at the Satay Hut, where Julien was doing bar work. That was the time to see all the friendly locals a last time and to try the Seafood basket (really good !) with Jess, Hilary and Gail.
We guess that we will never forget our time in Broome, all the awesome people we met. We will miss you all guys! We also want to thank everybody, Damian and Brad for letting us invading their gorgeous flat, Ryan for being so funny and gullible ! Gail, Pam and William for their confidence, Jess for all the laughs we had together, Alex and Steph for the Schpritzel receipt (il leve sa voiture ?!), Hilary for all the English lessons (you will kill us while reading that, it’s full of mistakes, isn’t it ?), Mariko for the Japanese lessons (we will come to visit you soon !), Seb, Lee, Uta …
We really hope to ear about you all soon. Here or on our email addresses. Take care !
